*Beau and Buddy have been adopted!*
I’m Beau, and you’ll notice I’m bonded with my best buddy, Buddy! I tend to approach new experiences and people a little more cautiously than Buddy, but once I get to know you, you’re my new pal.
I am frightened by loud, sudden noises, and I have to say I am not a fan of being left alone by the humans. I bark and whine if left in my crate, but most of the time Buddy and I are left to our own devices and we have been as good as gold – no dewing or other impolite behavior.
I love, love squeaky toys, and I have a bit of a mischievous streak – I’ve been known to take Buddy’s toys right out of his mouth and sometimes help myself to his food. Heh, heh. Ear rubs and lots of pets make me sooo happy! I also love lounging on the dog bed with Buddy. We are inseparable!
I generally walk well on a leash and don’t bark at passing dogs, but I will try to run away if I hear a loud noise. Very stressful. Neither Buddy nor I are a fan of riding in the car until we get settled in.
But we are so happy, because our foster mom wants to adopt us! Please have a look at some of our other friends, because there are so many hounds still looking for their perfect match. CBHR can tell you all about any of them – they want to make sure you have all the information you need before deciding to adopt one of our bassets.
Gotta scoot – I need to find Buddy so we can hang out together.
