About Me
*Annie has been adopted!*
Hello, everyone! My name is Annie, and I’m a sweet girl, not quite 5 years old. My former owner left me outside and didn’t pay a lot of attention to me. She said she just didn’t like me very much. Can you believe that – an affectionate girl like me?
My foster mom says I have a great temperament and a lot of energy. I haven’t had a lot of training or interaction with people, so I’m still learning how to listen and obey commands. My foster mom is great, and she says I am making really good progress.
I have tons of energy and can be rambunctious, but I am working hard to learn how to politely show my enthusiasm. I’m tempted to jump on people when I get excited and occasionally try to snatch food, but I don’t have any food aggression. I just really like the groceries!
What I really needed was a sense of belonging and consistency, and I am finding both with my wonderful CBHR foster family. My foster mom is a great presence in my life.
I now know how to use the doggy door, and I’m really good at going outside when I need to. l don’t like being crated, and my foster mom hasn’t tried to crate me.
I love people of all ages, and what we houndies need most are love and a safe, warm home. Because of my high energy level, I would be best for a household without small children. Foster Mom thinks I might be well suited for a home with lots of activity and where I can get plenty of exercise – and maybe have another energetic pup to play with.
I sure am a lot of fun, and I would love to meet my forever family. Is that you? Contact CBHR to learn more about me, Miss Annie!
