About Me
Hi, y’all! My name is Harvey, and I came to Carolina Basset Hound Rescue after an unknown period as a stray. The people at the animal shelter that picked me up contacted CBHR, and boy, I’m glad they did.
About me: I’m about 8 years old, and one easygoing basset hound. My foster mom loves me so much she wants to adopt me!
As you might expect, I came with many medical issues. I was heartworm positive, and I have been treaated for that. But I developed a bad cough and fluid on my lungs as a result of those nasty heartworms. I also have a heartworm and had a mass on my leg removed.
Thank goodness the wonderful volunteers and donors of CBHR have raised the money needed to treat my medical problems and get me back to being a healthy guy. As a 100 percent volunteer organization, CBHR relies on the kindness of strangers and friends alike.
