Hello, all you Carolina folks! Allow me to introduce my wonderful self. I’m Mandy, and I’m a young girl about 3 1/2 years old. I came to CBHR after a short stay at a shelter, and I’m now settling in with my foster family until I am adoption ready.
I have quite a lot of energy, and I just love to play. I am getting along with the other dogs in the house, and I really like going on outings with my foster dad. I’ve met several children that way, and I dare say I get along well with them.
I even got to visit the airport to help Foster Dad work on his airplane, and I didn’t mind the noise one bit! I’m working on this house training thing, but I am showing progress.
I do tend to be a bit skittish around men, but we are working on that. I have a tendency to jump on people because I am so enthusiastic, but I’m making a little progress there too.
My foster dad thinks I’m a sweetie pie! I am very loving but can be a bit pushy about food. I’m being fed separately from the other dogs to remedy that problem. And I’m learning patience by waiting politely for a treat.
Keep checking back for updates! I’ll be busy getting spiffed up (as if I need any spiffing up).
