About Me
*Matilda has been adopted!*
Hello! My name is Matilda, and I am just about the cutest basset puppy you’ve ever seen! I’m new to CBHR, and my foster people are working to teach me all about being a great dog for a forever family.
I’m about 5 months old, and as you can imagine, I’m full of puppy energy and curiosity. My fosters even say I’m “rambunctious.” But don’t you worry, I am also a smart little girl, and I am sure I will learn what I need to know. I will need continued training and structure from my eventual forever family, but if you will help me, I’ll do my my part to learn all about house manners.
I love to play, and so far I like everyone I meet – the kiddos as well as the adults. I’m a little underweight for my age, but I’m sure I’ll catch up once I get a few more groceries in me. I’m good in the car and in crowds, but I’m still learning to walk politely on a leash. I am also working on my housetraining.
As I noted, I’m new here, and my fosters are just getting to know me well, but keep checking back on my progress.
