These quilts are being auctioned on eBay for the benefit of CBHR. A perfect gift for yourself or for the basset lover in your life, they will keep you warm and snuggly during the cold months.
This 62″ x 62″ quilt is made of 100% cotton with 80/20 cotton batting. Ellie Wright, who made and donated the quilt writes: “I received a wonderful gift from a friend so that I might carry on her wish to help Basset Hounds that she so dearly loved. My friend Diana Rothe was a beautiful, strong and compassionate woman who loved Basset Hounds, especially the seniors. She supported senior hounds in rescue. Diana and I were quilters and upon her death she had told her husband she wanted her fabric to go to me so I could make donation quilts for a one of a kind raffle for rescues who cared for senior hounds.”
This quilt, handmade by Martha Knoll and donated by Jean Sankey, measures 56″ square and features bassets all over both sides.
