2023 Annual Report
Carolina Basset Hound Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1993 whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome unwanted basset hounds in North Carolina and South Carolina. A Board of Directors sets policies and procedures and governs the affairs of the organization. Its activities are managed by the Officers of the Corporation.
CBHR is staffed entirely by volunteers, and 96.91% of all donations go to the organization’s mission.
Carolina Basset Hound Rescue has earned a Gold Seal of Transparency from GuideStar for the last nine years and is a recognized rescue of Basset Hound Clubs of America.
Carolina Basset Hound Rescue receives support from the Terry Stuart Miller Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro.
