About Me

My name is Holly, and I’m a senior girl who is very calm and easygoing. My fosters call me a marshmallow because I like to slump at your feet and stay near you at all times. I am very comfortable around groups and generally well behaved.

I love my walks and am excited to meet other dogs, but I bark if they bark at me. I also bark to go outside and at mealtime. I am very food-motivated and would probably eat the other dogs’ dinner if I could get near it.

Sleeping is one of my favorite pastimes, and I have arthritis and some cysts, but CBHR is making sure I get the medical care I need. And even though I have trouble with the stairs, I don’t let my age and health challenges get to me. In fact, I still get the zoomies a lot.

My fosters are pretty sure I am deaf, so they are training me to follow hand signals. One of the other dogs is also deaf, and we get along great.

I am mostly housetrained but still have some accidents. That hasn’t deterred my fosters – they can’t wait to adopt me! Did you know that fosters have the first right to adopt their hound? I’m so excited! But please have a look around the site, because we are getting new dogs in all the time.

Each of us wants our happily ever after. Could you be our perfect match? Contact CBHR to learn more!
