Greetings, y’all! My name is Dollie, and I am an energetic young basset. I’m about 18 months old. My foster mom says I’m a sweet girl. I love attention, and I love meeting new people. My fosters take me to breweries from time to time, and I really enjoy greeting everyone I meet – crowds don’t scare me at all.
Around other dogs, I can be submissive. I will roll over on my back, but I really like to play with my canine friends. Because I’m a young girl, I wish for an active family that will take me on lots of adventures – maybe even the dog park. I love walking and being outside in general.
I would do well around another dog who could keep me company and play with me. More about me: I am housetrained but need to go outside first thing in the morning. Otherwise, I might have an accident. I’m happy to chill out with the family, and I am not destructive even if I’m not in my crate. I sometimes sleep in there, but Foster Mom gives me the run of the house and I am well-behaved. And when my foster needs to close my crate when she leaves, I don’t complain.
