About Me
*Honey has been adopted!*
Hons, my name is Honey, and I’m such a happy girl because my foster dad wants to adopt me, even though we’ve had a few rough patches. You see, CBHR never gives up on a hound, and Foster Dad and I have been going through behavior training to help with my sometimes-ornery nature.
I’ve gotten aggressive with him in the past, but he says I’m usually a sweet girl, like my name! With our trainer’s help, I’ve been working on learning the “leave it” command and on helping me with my house manners. Foster Dad says I’m very smart and am doing well.
About me: I’m 3 years old, and I love my toys. I play with them every night. I also get the zoomies and run around the house after I come inside. I do love the outdoors, though, and FDand I like to spend lots of time in the yard and out on walks.
My story will have a happy ending, and I hope the same for all of my fellow CBHR bassets. Some of us are rough around the edges, but CBHR believes in us and helps us get the medical care and guidance we need to be our best basset selves.
Please consider looking closer at some of our available houndies, or those who are on hold but may soon be available. We all want a family we can love, and one who loves us right back. You can tell them Honey sent you!
