About Me
They call me Moose, and I’m a big, 3-year-old basset. I am making myself right at home with my fosters, who simply adore me. I love toys, people and food. I’m an expert snuggler – there is no lap I won’t cuddle up to.
I eagerly wag my tail and bark when I see another dog, but I’m probably not cat friendly. I enjoy walkies but I need to be able to stop and sniff all the good scents. I don’t hang out in a crate, but my fosters have left me out and I am not destructive. I do hate to see the people leave – I whine because I miss them, but I eventually settle down.
I have already found my forever home with my fosters, but please have a look at other hounds on the website. We all want to find a family to love forever. Pssst, did you know that foster families have first dibs if they want to adopt? Consider becoming a foster parent – it’s rewarding even if you decide you just want to help a basset find a forever family.
