Hi! I’m Scout, and I am celebrating the New Year by going to live with my new forever family! I’m so excited! I only came to Carolina Basset Hound Rescue a month ago, but I’m such a sweet, handsome boy that my forever family fell in love at first sight!
We have lots of happily-ever-after stories here at CBHR, thanks to some awesome volunteers and fosters who make sure we are ready for prime time. They take great care to match families or individuals to hounds that best suit their family dynamics, personality and structure.
Won’t you take a minute to look at the other bassets here, especially the ones who are on hold or available for adoption? But also look at all the adoption-pending dogs, and read some of the stories of our many Happy Hounds. Last but not least, note the Forever Fosters. These are senior hounds with long-term medical needs who will be able to live out their lives in the care of their loving foster families, with medical support from CBHR.
We are always looking for foster families as well as adopters, so if you think you might be able to offer some of our new hounds – and believe me, we are getting new dogs in now that that holidays are over – please consider signing up to be a CBHR foster parent. Contact CBHR for more information.
