About Me
*Millie has been adopted!*
Hi there! I’m Millie, and I am loving life in my CBHR foster home. I immediately became comfortable on the sofa and bed, and I’m so happy to be here! I’m a typical basset hound, meaning I love to capsize for belly rubs.
I’m a 7-year-old lady, but I still have a spring in my step. I’m smart, too. I know how to sit and am learning other commands. I love to go for walks, and I’m trying to practice not pulling on my leash, but when I spot or smell something, I just have to go check it out.
I get along well with the other dogs, although we are still getting to know each other. One thing I don’t like is being left alone, but my foster mom lets me hang out in my crate, where I feel more secure.
Dinnertime is one of my favorite parts of the day. The other dogs and I hang out under the table to clean up anything that drops on the floor.
I get along well with adults but don’t have much experience around the kiddos. I also haven’t been observed around cats.
I’m having so much fun that I think I might just stay with my fosters, but check back on my progress. In the meantime, have a look at some of my fellow bassets on this site who are still looking for their forever families. Maybe one of them is just the hound you’ve been looking for.
Take care. Millie out – I have to go play now.
