*Mr. Peanut Butter has been adopted!*
Howdy! They call me Mr. Peanut Butter, probably ’cuz I am the color of peanut butter. I’m a 5-year-old guy who loves, loves, loves people. I roll over on my back immediately so I can get some good belly rubs. I adore attention and want to be close to people at all times.
In fact, I get lonely when I am asked to stay by myself. I will cry or bark for someone to come to me. I do much better sleeping in a room with my people. At first, I wanted to jump on the bed with my foster people, but when they gently told me no, I settled into my dog bed in their room.
I also love other dogs. I do much better away from the people when I have a friend with me. I met a new dog at a recent outing and did just great. I am housetrained, and because I don’t like being crated, Foster Mom leaves me in the kitchen when she is gone. I do pretty well.
I am still trying to get used to walking on a leash and it’s a work in progress, but I recently met a cat and was very interested. I haven’t had much experience around those kitties, though. However, I am a very smart guy and I understand basic commands.
I am still getting some medical attention for routine stuff and to make sure I’m healthy, but I will soon be ready to start looking for a forever family. Could it be you? If you think so, contact CBHR and tell them Mr. Peanut Butter sent you! I’ll be waiting!
