*Wade has been adopted!*
My name’s Wade, and I am one popular guy! I’m about 17 months old and am having the time of my life in my foster home with two hoomans and five other dogs to play with. When I go walking through the neighborhood (on my leash, of course), I have to say hi to all I meet.
I love the sound of my deep basset howl and use it often to greet visitors or to let my family know something is going on outside. Sometimes I get to go to work with my foster mom at an animal hospital. It’s really exciting. I met a cat while I was there. I said hello politely and minded my manners.
I am good about hanging out in my crate when my people have to go out. I am very curious about the goodies that sit on the counter, but my fosters are teaching me that I need to wait until I am offered something yummy and can’t just help myself.
As you can imagine, I love to play with my doggie friends, and I adore my toys. Treats are always welcome too!
I’m housetrained and in general a polite dog. And guess what? I already have a family interested in giving me a forever home! But I’m just one of the new dogs who have come to CBHR recently, and all the others also deserve to have people they can call their own.
