About Me
*Rosie and Lulu have been adopted!*
Well, hello there! Let me introduce you to me and my BFF Lulu. We are a pair of 4-year-old bassets who need to find a new forever home. Our former owners were devastated at having to give us up, but one of them has serious health problems.
As you might imagine, we had a little trouble adjusting to our foster home because we weren’t familiar with the new surroundings. But once we realized the food and comfy furniture was on the inside, we no longer insisted on sleeping in a detached garage.
We climbed up on the sofa and have been happy hounds ever since! In fact, our fosters have fallen head over heels in love with us and are talking about adopting us!
We are still working through some fears and anxiety, but we are much calmer and more comfortable than we were the first few days. Our fosters are working on socialization skills with us so we aren’t as hesitant about meeting new people.
You’ll notice from our photos that we look a lot alike. I’m the mostly brown one; Lulu has some black on her back. But we are tightly bonded and love each other’s company. Check back on us to see if we have found our Happily Ever After 2.0!
