About Me
*Sadly, sweet Winifred went to the Bridge unexpectedly on May 4, 2024. Despite serious medical challenges, she was able to experience the love and care of her foster family and the veterinary care she received thanks to CBHR’s generous donors. Run free, Winifred!*
Hello, everyone! My name is Winifred, and I’ve had a rough young life. I had a huge mass in my chest due to a congenital problem, and I am recovering from major surgery that was made possible by generous donations to CBHR for me and Henry. They had to remove some ribs and part of my sternum because my chest cavity had narrowed.
I am adoption pending, but I wanted to make sure to thank everyone who has helped contribute to my recovery. I’m just a puppy, and with luck, I will be able to live a long and happy life because Carolina Basset Hound Rescue was able to get me the care I needed.
You are the reason CBHR can keep rescuing basset hounds in need. Thank you!
Winifred out!
