About Me

*Bonnie has been adopted!*

Well, hello there! My name is Bonnie, and I’m a sweet senior girl about 8 1/2 years old. I was a little nervous when I first came to my foster home and new surroundings, but I am adapting quite well. I adore my foster dad and love to sit in his lap while he gives me lots of pets and rubs.

I’m still working on my housetraining, but I have made a lot of progress. I am a good girl and generally sleep in my crate with the door open. I’ve got the kind of maturity only experience brings, and I am pretty chill most of the time.

I get very nervous riding in the car and have to be crated so I don’t pace around, but that might just be becuase I’m not that familiar with car rides. I get along well with the other dogs, including one that gets growly around treats, and I haven’t reciprocated that behavior. I just ignore it. I also ignore the cats next door and don’t bark or show any aggression toward them.

I don’t have any experience around kids but I do get along well with adults. I walk OK on my leash, and I am generally a sweet-natured girl. I sure would like to meet you if you think I might be a great addition to your family. In the meantime, I’ll be working with my foster dad to be my best basset self! Contact CBHR and tell them you’d like to know more about Bonnie!
