About Me

*Sadly, Alex has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. His foster mom and best pal Remy will miss him very much, but he enjoyed love and much-needed medical care while in CBHR’s care. Be well and run free, Alex!*

Hi there! I’m Alex, and I came to CBHR with my best bud Remy. We are one of several bonded pairs to arrive in the care of this wonderful organization in the past few weeks. As a couple of senior guys, we are really enjoying having a predictable routine and the attention we are getting from our foster mom. We are also very bonded – best buddies, all the way!

We just got neutered and got our teeth examined and cleaned. We are trying to figure out this housetraining thing – Foster Mom says she doesn’t think we had been housebroken before. But we’re a couple of smart guys and we will figure it out.

We aren’t food-aggressive, but we do help ourselves to each other’s food bowls. We aren’t crated and are on our best behavior when Foster Mom leaves us alone.

I’m a little more outgoing and confident than Remy, and I will let Foster Mom know when I need something. I’m also a little more active than Remy, but we both love hanging out together.

We haven’t figured out what this walking on a leash thing is, but I’ll bet we pick that up soon also. Keep checking back with us – we are still relative newcomers to CBHR. But we are eager to find our forever family!

In the meantime, please let CBHR know if we or any of our fellow bassets catch your eye or touch your heart. We all want to meet our forever families!

This is Alex, signing out!
