About Me
*Sandy has been adopted!*
Hello there! My name is Sandy, and I was picked up as a stray before I came to Carolina Basset Hound Rescue. I’m a petite basset mix, about 4 years old. The folks at CBHR don’t know much about my life before I came to the rescue, but my foster mom says I am a sweet, very loving, well-rounded girl.
I love everyone I meet, and I love cuddling with people, although I don’t have experience with children under 8. My manners are very good, and I am learning to let the people know when I need to go outside. I am a little confused by the doggie door – I follow the other dog outside, but I don’t like going through it when I’m by myself.
I get along great with other dogs; cats are and unknown. I walk pretty well on a leash, but I am a little apprehensive about the car at first. That said, I ride well once I’m in.
As a proper Southern lady, I will be attending to some grooming and dental issues before I’m ready for adoption – I want to look and feel my very best when I meet my forever family!
If you are looking for a well-mannerd snuggle-hound, contact CBHR and tell them you’d like to meet Sandy! I’ll be waiting!
