About Me
*Dollie went to the Rainbow Bridge on March 23, 2023. She spent her later last months loved and well cared for in a CBHR foster home. Run free, Miss Dollie!*
Hello, I’m Dollie, and I am a delightful senior girl who has been a wonderful houseguest at my foster home. I don’t even bark much! I came to CBHR from a loving owner, but he recently had to go into long-term care and couldn’t take care of me anymore. So, I’m in search of a family who can keep on loving me, and I promise to return that love.
I get along well with the other bassets in the house, but I confess that my table manners are a little rough – I like to snatch food from the other dogs. I am housetrained and generally calm, although I am nervous when riding in the car. (I whine and get very anxious.)
My foster says I may be developing cataracts, but I get around well. I am great in crowds and with adults and children over 8. I don’t have much experience with the younger humans or cats, though. I walk well on the leash, although I tend to pull a little.
Overall, I’m a sweet girl who would make a great companion. Contact CBHR and ask for Dollie if you’re interested in giving me my new fur-ever home!
