Betty! My foster mom says that I am a sweet, affectionate hound.. and am always smiling. 🙂 I am one of CBHR’s Forever Fosters, and I am in hospice care now. I am a little over 12 1/2 years old and have the most aggressive form of mammary cancer, ductal carcinoma, as well as diabetes that is well controlled.
I do well with other dogs. I even walk well on a leash, but I like to stop to smell the roses.I tend to walk very closely to my people, often between legs.
When I was diagnosed, my life expectancy was estimated at just six months. Thanks to the great care I’ve received and generous donations to CBHR, it is now 18 months since my diagnosis.
As a Forever Foster, I will live out the rest of my days with my loving foster family.
