Hi! I am Wilbur! Do you and your family need a new instant best friend? That would be me.
I’m a puppy in a full grown basset body. I love being able to be a puppy – play with toys non-stop, play with my doggie foster siblings non-stop, and do zoomies in the yard. I have a lot of energy so I hope you are looking for an energetic basset!
I am doing really well with house training. I’m still getting used to getting in and out of a car, but I love to go on rides. The dog park is the most amazing party I’ve ever been to. I have a huge appetite so my foster mom makes me great big breakfasts and dinners so I can gain some weight and make my coat look shiny and new.
I would really like a home with a fenced in yard, other dogs that like to play rough and tumble (as in bitey face and let’s pull on each other’s ears), and easy access in and out. I won’t be happy if I’m left inside all day and especially if I’m left without the comfort of other dogs.
