About Me
Fly high, sweet Rosco.
I am a recent new big man in town to CBHR, and that fits my description in both the physical sense and adoptability. Let’s start with physical… my foster mom uses descriptions like “big-boned”, “chunky monkey”, and “gentle giant.” At least she doesn’t use the term “husky.”
Sadly, when the CBHR took me in I had a few undiagnosed issues and it turns out one of them is quite serious. I have a cancer that usually does not have a good outcome. As a result, I will be staying with my foster family and getting treatment to help me be comfortable for my remaining days. I am lucky to be in a great foster home and have the care I need!
Otherwise, I am one great guy. I am very social and enjoy people, kids, and other dogs. My favorite things at home are to follow my foster parents around and sit in the occasional vacant chair. My new best buddy is my foster dog brother and I like to play with him. One of the things my foster family and I do together is visit dog friendly bars near our home and I have become quite the “beer hound.” Not by consumption, but by the fact I enjoy getting out, meeting new people, being in the crowd, and seeing other beer hounds. In all circumstances I am eager for pets and belly rubs.
In the days to come I look forward to doing what I feel like, being loved, and making an occasional beer run with my parents.
