Monty

I am Monty! Let’s assume you are looking for a special basset and I am the prize behind doggie door # 1, #2, or #3.  If you just guessed, by my razor-sharp basset mind, you would have a 33% chance of winning me.  How about we increase those odds to 100% because you intentionally choose me?  Let me tell you why you might want to consider that…

For starters, I have a great personality and have a happy go lucky attitude. I sleep through the night, and my fosters swear I can tell time. Ever try to put a wristwatch on a basset hound? Bedtime, morning naps, and lunch time are all part of my internal clock.  I like to eat often, and on schedule. Three squares a day and a snack seem reasonable to me, and I am happy to take them from my crate. One thing about me, though, is that I don’t bark when my hunger alarm goes off, I want to take walk, or need attention.  I like to whine when I need something and can be a bit unclear and persistent sometimes. My fosters are working with me to be less whiney and more content once my needs are met. Some of it might be because I have some skin allergies and have started some new food to help that improve.. Otherwise, nothing really bothers me.

Overall, I look great, am fun loving and will make some family a great companion. Why don’t we make a deal?
