Howdy, folks! I’m Nellie, and I’m 6 years old. My sister Cleo and I came to CBHR as one of the Fab Five after our owner moved and couldn’t take us with him. Cleo and Magnolia, her daughter, are tightly bonded, but I’m one of a kind.
My foster dad says I’m a well-mannered lady and am adusting well to life without the rest of my original pack. I’m affectionate and follow him all over the house.
I’m smart, too, and am learning how to follow Foster Dad’s verbal commands. I’m generally a mild-mannered girl, but I got a bit growly when I had to share the bed with another dog. Foster Dad is working with me and watching for other signs, but that was the only negative incident so far.
I am not much for playing with toys, but I do love my rawhide chewies. I’m learning the rules of the house and am still working on housetraining, but just you wait – I’ll get it.
