Fly high, sweet angel Chloe.
Hello basset hound admirers, I am Chloe, or you can call me Mooney, and I’m so happy that I was scooped up by CBHR. Life for the past year and a half or so, prior to being rescued I was mostly kept in a crate. My foster mom describes me as a petite 47 pound basset of a certain age. But despite the actual number, I’m a lively golden girl with a sweet and sunny disposition. I do have a little hitch in my giddy-up when it comes to my hind legs, but that’s only an issue when going up stairs. I can do it, but to be realistic, I need a home with very few stairs. Once inside or outside, I’m good to go.
I’m sweet and mellow and I do like things a certain way. I now know happiness again and my tail wagging proves it. I am usually wagging my tail and will lay by the door waiting for my foster mom to come home and I love to lay on one side and foster bro Buster on the other when she is working at her desk. My family is incredibly dedicated to keep me safe, loved, and help me the best out my life. I feel very fortunate to have a good place to live out my days. I don’t have too many left, but the ones I have are comfortable. I remain so very thankful for each and every one.
