About Me
I am Theodore! Are you looking for a cuddly friend to share your lap with? If so, Simon and I would be glad to fill the position! Theodore’s my name, and while I may look a bit more beagle than basset, I can assure you that my personality is more basset than beagle. I have really adjusted well to house life. Most of the time, you can find me napping in a doggy bed or on my favorite pillow or blanket. Sometimes I play with toys, but mostly I just want to be with my humans. Foster mom says I’m a bit of a shadow – when I’m not napping, I follow her around so I can be near her. My favorite time is sitting in foster mom’s lap while she rubs my ears – I’m not as much into belly rubs, but those gentle ear massages are the best! I don’t mind being outside for short periods of time, but I definitely prefer the cushy indoor lifestyle. I am still perfecting my leash walking – foster mom says I just need more practice. Being alone makes me sad, so my new home will need to have another dog for me to be friends with and play with when my humans are out – I do enjoy a good play wrestle with my puppy friends. I am fully housebroken, but have started to have accidents overnight – foster mom and I are working on getting me back on track.
