About Me

*Sully has been adopted!*

Hello World!  I hope you are having as great a day as I am. My life changed dramatically a few weeks ago when I left the home where I was kept outdoors at all times, in a pen, to the amazing world of household family member. And I love it!!  All of it!!

There has been so much transition, so let me tell you about me and how I’m doing in this brave new, wonderful world. I’m 4 years old, and I’m a true-blue basset. I never got a chance to really be a puppy, so I’m acting a bit like a puppy: I love to play with squeaky toys, go on long brisk walks, ride in the car, chase my tail with zoomies, and play with my foster canine siblings – even when they have had enough!

I have no idea how big I am (my foster mom says I’m a long basset), but I’m trying out all the couches and beds and laps to see which I like best. I love people, other ndogs, and my food but I don’t bother my canine family when they are eating.

I’m not aggressive at all. I’m working on housetraining – I have good days and not-so-good days right now, but my foster mom says I’m super smart and learning things really quickly.

One thing I’m super afraid of is thunderstorms. They terrify me. My foster mom holds me tight, but I’m having a hard time believing we’ll all be ok when I see lightning or hear thunder.

Anyway, if you would love a walking partner and possibly need a companion for another dog or two in the house, I’m ready when you are! Just contact CBHR and ask for Sully!
