Hi, Sally here! Wow, am I just doing great in my foster home, but I know there’s an amazing furever home out there for me! I’m a little more petite than your average basset. I’m about 35 lbs, and the vet thinks I’m about 5-8 year old, but a girl never tells her age!

Did I mention I’m blind? Probably not, because it’s really not a big deal to me. I will need daily drops in my eyes, though. My foster mom says I am beautiful inside and out! All I want is a soft bed in the middle of the room – so I can hear and be a part of the family. My tail is a perpetual motion machine. I ADORE treats (I am a hound after all!)- and enjoy finding them with my houndy nose. I am very brave girl and this blindness business does not keep me from exploring and navigating my territory. Please take me for walks where I can get all kinds of good sniffs! I will trustingly follow the person holding my lead.

My perfect family would be one that is stable with not a lot of change or activity. Families with older kids and/or older, calmer dogs preferred. My foster Mom says I would be perfect for an owner or family that simply wants a cuddle dog who is very low maintenance. 7/23/17
