I am Ruthie! My foster mom says I am an awesome dog!
I like everyone I meet. I recently had amputation of my left rear leg. I am adjusting well to my new new body. I am still underweight, but I am eating well and slowly gaining the weight I need. I am house trained and doggy door trained. I bark if I need to go out and if I need any help. I am good with other dogs. I LOVE to lay in the sun.
I must have a home with only one step maximum. My ideal home would be an older person or a less active person that is home a lot. I really need a doggy door with anytime access to a backyard. When I have to go potty, I have to go at that very moment! Another dog to hang out with is fine if they are older or laid back, but I would prefer to be your one and only.
