Daphne (AKA Dahlia)

I’m finally home – I’ve been adopted – Thanks CBHR! 1/12/15

Daphne, as she is called now, came to us in pretty rough shape. Unfortunate circumstances have led this beautiful girl to us, and we are going to try our best to make up for her past in finding her the best forever home ever, when it’s time. As she recuperates and heals we will see more of her personality come out, I’m sure. She has quite a little road of medical to go through to get in tip-top shape, but I think this little 40 pound girl is worth the wait. She’s very easy going and loves to follow her foster momma around. Loves people and gets along great with her four legged foster siblings. She is very quiet unless foster mom makes a trip to the front yard without her. That is the only time that she has howled and barked. She is so sweet and even allows nail trims, a rarity for this breed. Did I mention she’s housetrained and knows her way around a doggie door? Daphne loves to cuddle and has quite the appetite… for food and rest. She currently enjoys taking her meds, that are going to help her get better, because they come¬†with a little dab of peanut butter. Check back soon and we’ll get some more pictures. Don’t let this sweetheart get away, start asking about Miss Daphne today! Please check out the adorable Miss Daphne’s video below… 08/26/14
