Some guys are just guys. That is my outlook on life and the lens through which I view the world. Not that there’s anything wrong with that… So, let me explain what I mean. Sometimes I am Barnabas, other times I am “Barney.”
A lot of the time I can be quite the romantic. I can be a sweet and loving guy who likes long walks on the beach. I will make eye contact and flirt with you, especially if it involves food treats or belly rubs. I will cuddle by your bed and make you laugh with my somewhat goofy gait. Other times, I like my own space and will just go there. No offense, it is just sometimes I am ok just being by myself. Does that make me a manipulator, or just a typical guy?
Most of the time I am a one on one sort of fellow. I am not a big fan of crowds, but will join in after a little time to get acquainted. I am a little shy at first, especially around men. Kids are ok, but I can take them or leave them. Don’t get me wrong, I am not antisocial, just reserved. My foster mom is helping me with some manners, and I think that is ok. If that makes her happy, I am glad to comply, but more so if treats or belly rubs are part of the deal. Typical guy….
So, do I sound like your type of guy? If so, let my friends at the CBHR know. We might work a deal! You bring the treats and I will supply the belly.
