*Angel has been adopted!*
I’m an Angel, and I am trying hard to live up to my name – although my prospective adopters have recently changed my name to Leia, like the “Star Wars” princess. I’m one of a dozen bassets who came to CBHR via a well-organized caravan from our former owner, who couldn’t care for us anymore.
I love attention and being near the people, and I am very smart. I learn very quickly. I do have that typical basset stubbornness (I prefer to call it “selective hearing”), but I really do get along well with people and other dogs.
I’m very treat-motivated, so if you want me to do something, a snack is the best way to get me to do it.
As you can see, I’m doing a tryout with a potential adopter, but keep checking this site, because we’ve gotten a lot of bassets in the past month or so. There are also a lot of wonderful senior dogs who would love to have a forever home for the holidays. This girl is out for now, but keep all the CBHR hounds in your heart this holiday season!
