Hound Dog One, in conjunction with the Carolina Basset Hound Rescue, is making plans for our first annual Fly-A-Thon. Hound Dog One is an aircraft (Piper Cherokee 180) that transports needy Basset Hounds around the Carolinas, free of charge. This fund raising event is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 16, Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, 2009. Hound Dog One plans to fly 600 miles across North Carolina and South Carolina with stops in Charleston, Raleigh, Charlotte, Greenville and Columbia.
