Carolina Basset Hound Rescue depends on your generosity to fulfill its mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming unwanted bassets in the Carolinas. There are several means of providing general or specific support. We welcome both one-time and on-going donations. All contributions are tax deductable to the extent provided by law.

Basset Backer

backer_bg_tinyThe Basset Backer program is Carolina Basset Hound Rescue’s general source for sustaining funds. With a continuous and reliable source of income it is much easier for CBHR to provide for our current bassets and plan for the never-ending number of bassets coming from shelters. Learn more.

Basset Angel

The Golden Tag Society

Honor your friends, loved ones, or a cherished pet with a gift to Carolina Basset Hound Rescue. CBHR will notify the family of the honored of your kind gift with a special basset hound photo card and a note in memoriam in our monthly newsletter.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Have you checked to see if your company or organization does matching gifts when you donate at work or volunteer so many hours? Eli Lilly, Lenovo, Bank of America, Cisco, State Farm, and Google are just a few of the many out there with donation matching programs. Ask your human resources department; they will know. If you have a matching program at your employer and would like to learn more about how you can help CBHR, please contact us at for more information on the setup process
