Hi, everyone! I’m Dixie, and I came to CBHR this year. I’ve just been adopted, and I am so excited! 

I’m a strong and healthy 12-year-old basset girl, and I get along really well with the family’s felines. 

Because I’ve had such a happy ending, I’d like to put in a plea for my fellow senior basset hounds. Please don’t pass us over just because we’re not puppies or young dogs. We have so much love to give, and we long for someone to love us for whatever time we have left. 

You’d be amazed at how much we can enrich your lives. Meanwhile, I’m so happy to be with my forever family! Dixie out!
