CBHR is a volunteer run, non-profit organization that relies solely on fund-raising and the kindness of people's generosity. There are things we always need. If you would like to make a contribution to our organization, any or all of the following materials are needed:

DOG SUPPLIES

• Collars - most of our dogs need 17-20 inch collars
• Leashes - bassets pull hard, we need 1 inch wide and 6 foot long leashes
• Dishes - "cocker" bowls that are tip proof and keep ears out of food and water are preferred
• Crates - bassets are big dogs on short legs, we need the same size crate a lab or german shepherd needs
• Dog Beds - again Bassets are big dogs on short legs, we need the same size bed as a Lab or German Shepard
• Blankets/Sheets - blankets and sheets make great beds when dog beds are unavailable
• Food - bassets and food slaves are picky about food, if you would like to make a food donation, please donate to your local shelter on our behalf.

MONEY

This is one of our biggest needs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered before leaving rescue. Many go through heartworm treatment or have had other illnesses. Veterinary care is by far our largest expense. The $150 donation we ask for at Adoption rarely covers the expenses incurred with a healthy dog.
