Hello, it’s me – Granny Lola! Well, my name is really Lola but since I’m about 16 years old, a little wobbly, with my hearing not so good nor my eyesight – I can be called Granny if I want!! Foster Momma says at my age, I can have anything I want and what I want is to be pampered for the rest of my life. I’m so lucky – I have three orthopedic doggy beds, a special doggy door ramp, and even my own personal dog stroller…the Lola-Mobile…now I can go everywhere; when I get tired walking (which doesn’t take long), I ride in my private limo, the Lola-Mobile. It’s fun! I do need daily medicines to keep me moving so if you could spare a few pennies to help with my care, please go to the CBHR Donation page. Say it’s for me – Granny Lola and I’ll send you a thank you card with my paw-tograph! If you are coming to the Wilmington Waddle later this month, look for me and I’ll let you pet me – I LOVE to be petted!

My name is Brady and I am so excited to be the CBHR Foster Dog of the Week. As you can see from my pictures, I am an incredibly handsome big boy. I look like a movie star in every picture people take of me. The nice lady who does Foster Dog of the Week decided to make a collage of all my pictures because she found it completely impossible to pick only one. Look at my face; have you ever seen such a handsome hound? George Clooney, Brad Pitt…They’ve got nothing on me. I have everything a hound lover could want: Beautiful long ears, droopy but wise eyes, and big old basset feet. Come on, you know you are just dying to rub my belly.
I am looking for a forever family who would like to adopt a fairly no-fuss senior guy like me. I slowed down a bit from my young pup days but I still like to go for walks and bask in the sun in the yard. The one thing I don’t do anymore is stairs. I may not take part in all the action but I sure do like to chill out and watch what is going on around me. Do you like to sit on the porch and read the paper or knit? I would love to lay by your feet and watch you do those things. I like other dogs so if you have another senior hound that would like a little company while you are gone during the day I would be perfect for you. Maybe you just need someone to hang out and chat with or go for a little walk with after dinner. I am good company, I promise. My foster Mom says I am a gentle giant. If you want a dog and don’t have time to train a rambunctious pup think about adding me to your family. I come all trained and well mannered already.
Check out my profile, and be sure to share these posts with your friends so that we can all find our forever homes.
